
Vice President for Knowledge Management and Special Projects
Amy Gross joined the Center in 1997. Serving as the vice president for knowledge management and special projects, she has a passion for teaching, learning, professional improvement, delivering exceptional customer service, and working in a nonprofit setting. She strives to work with the entire IDEA Center team to deliver exceptional service and to provide opportunities for clients to expand their knowledge of teaching, learning, and leadership through the IDEA products and resources. She received her B.A. in psychology/sociology/human services counseling from Wayne State College in her home town of Wayne, NE. After earning her Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology at Kansas State University, she worked with the Strategy and Process Planning Team at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Mich. When she is not working or traveling for the Center, Amy spends time with her husband, John, and son, John Doyle. Recently, Amy has enjoyed serving her community as a board member for the Friends of Sunset Zoo, various committees for the Amanda Arnold Elementary School PTA, and as a member of the K-State Psychology Department Advisory Council.
