Feedback for Deans -- Features of the System

As a key leader, the academic dean cultivates resources, guides professional and organizational development, makes critical personnel decisions, and provides crucial direction to a college. IDEA Feedback for Deans addresses all these components, collecting the experiences and impressions of faculty. The system also analyzes personal and professional characteristics, as well as administrative styles, that contribute to effective performance. Online delivery and management by The IDEA Center encourage higher participation rates and more confident and forthright responses.

This evaluation tool is unique in higher education today. Both the Dean’s Information Form and the Faculty Survey are administered through the Internet for convenience, speed, efficiency, and confidentiality.
